| The motel was decent enough to spend the night in. My 3 friends and I stayed in a two queen bed room. The room was clean and had cute decor.
Pros:
- 1 mile away from the Gas Lamp so taxi fare was super cheap and your a few blocks away from the trolly (though I wouldn't recommend walking there as you'll see in the cons)
- Polite hotel staff
- They offer continental breakfast
- The room was clean
- The room prices are cheap!
- They have a laundry room
- They have wifi
- They are literally right off the 5 freeway
Cons:
- The neighborhood isn't the nicest. Or, according to my local San Diego friends, it isn't the safest either. You're fine as long as you don't wander around the streets late at night. So don't walk to the trolly.
- The coffee and juice machines were broken
- The stairs looked like they were cracked and under construction and they just never finished them.
- I asked for extra towels because there were four of us in the room, not two. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes until they finally handed the two towels to me.
- The bathroom sink was clogged. It took a while for all the water to run through. |

| The price was fair.
A MTS bus stop was in front of the hotel.
We were able to spend all day in the water front, without looking for parking.
The mattress was too firm for our taste and vehicle traffic was on the noisy side.
The staff was very cordial and helped us quite a bit. |

| Spacious room. Housekeeping wasn't great though. They were very friendly but not very efficient. I was there for 5 days and had to use the same tiny piece of soap until I asked for new ones on the 4th day. They never replenished the coffee in my room unless I asked them to. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I'm disabled and the man at the desk was very kind in helping me to get my scooter out of my car and helping me with my luggage. There were a few sloppy things such as; the bathroom door had been replaced (apparently quite a long time ago) and was never painted. The stickers from the store where it was purchased were still on it. All-in-all, it was very good for the cost. You can't expect the exceptional luxury at budget prices. The price was VERY reasonable and I felt I got a lot for my money. I would recommend it and I would stay there again if traveling to the area. It was less than a mile, walking distance, to the San Diego Convention Center. |

| I had a conference to attend and this inn was cheap and very close to the convention center. I was skeptical given the other reviews but my room was very clean and the staff members were friendly in assisting me with logging onto their free wireless internet. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy but I didn't have any problems with it. |

| - Zimmer sauber, gut ausgestattet, aber älteres Semester
- Freeway daneben, aber in der Nacht eher ruhig
- Lage nicht vertrauenserweckend, überhaupt nicht per Nacht, Fußwege nicht zu empfehlen (vom Zentrum zur Unterkunft muss man direkt durch Skid Row marschieren = Obdachlosenviertel), Bus aber direkt vor der Haustür vorhanden
- Parkplatz vorhanden und ausreichend, enge kann nicht bestätigt werden trotz Ford Explorer
. Frühstück dabei aber klein gehalten, Süßes, Kafffee und 2 Cerialien
- zuverlässige Kabelverbindung
- wenn man mit dem Bus verkehrt ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. |

| The rooms are really nice, the owners are adorable and really helpfull, the cleaning is done every day, breakfast is included (and you can arrive 15 minutes before the end, the owner will refill everything for you). We really enjoyed our stay here, really good quality-price ratio. A bus stops right down the hotel and goes right downtown.
We had to extend our stay and the owner granted us a big discount. I would definitely recommend this place.
Les chambres sont confortables, les gérants (adorables) nous ont beaucoup aidé pour un tas de choses. Le ménage est fait tous les jours, le petit déjeuner (céréales, jus d'orange, patisseries) est inclus. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour ici, très bon rapport qualité prix. Un bus allant ''downtown'' s'arrête juste en bas de l'hotel. Nous avons prolongé notre séjour de deux semaines et le gérant nous a largement baissé le prix de la nuit. Je recommande vraiment cet hotel. |

| This hotel is super close to the convention center. We stayed 2 nights and it was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is a little run down, but not dirty. We really appreciated the free wireless internet access. It made doing business and keeping up with email easy while away on business. I will use this location again! |
