| I live in Orange County and was in San Diego for an event. I asked the lobby for a small favor and i was so rudely rejected.... I didn't know the area so I felt completely hopeless.. an older lady in the lobby simply said they couldn't help me with my simple request... I was surprised how rude she was !!! Never again will I book a room there!! horrible horrible lady!! |

| The room was clean and in a pleasant neighborhood. It only took us 5 minutes to get to Sea World! Budget friendly and exceeds expectations. |

| The lady in reception was friendly and incredibly helpful in arranging transportation and tours, she went above and beyond, only one small incident with sheets with the room keepers saying we had made the sheets blue despite not having anything blue, would recommend this hotel for the+ service alone |

| We went to this hotel expecting the worst but was pleasantly suprised on how nice it was for the price. All major attractions are a short drive away such as old town, mission beach, and gas lamp distrist. The hotel was clean and nice for the price. The only downfall was it was near the airport and you can hear the planes go by and some street traffic but it wasn't too bad. |

| The people were very friendly and helpful to show me directions. The hotel was convenient to the beach, Sea World and the board walk. I highly recommend it. |

| The best thing about the motel was the staff. They were very friendly. We also appreciated the free wi-fi, the convienient location (it was close/had easy access to a beach, downtown, the airport, and Balboa Park), and the helpful directions provided on the information sheet. The downsides were that it had some less impressive businesses near by and the beds weren't the most comfortable. |

| Hey for a smaller and older hotel it worked out just fine! Staff was very nice and shopping/food was within walking distance. We shared a room with three beds sharing the costs with friends. You can't find anyplace even close for the price and convience. |

| We had low expectations but just needed some place clean & cheap to stay while we were in San Diego & that's exactly what we got. At least it appeared clean. Couple of the lights didn't work or the electric socket in the bathroom & the advertised continental breakfast was just some muffins/pastry & coffee. I guess I was expecting a bit more but it's a very small hotel. You get what you pay for! |

| This is evidently a very old motel, and it shows (wall heaters that you must get down on the floor to open and find lever that controls height of flame). HOWEVER, it was spotlessly clean and the staff was friendly. It has a sort of shabby charm, and again, I was impressed with the cleanliness. Close to the freeway, Old Town, downtown, and the Gaslight Section. A good value for the money. Although there is noise from traffic and aircraft, there was little to no noise from other guests, even though the motel was full on Valentine's Day. Breakfast offered was merely coffee and muffins, but they had advertised that fact. |
