Recent Bay Club Marina Review: "We really were pleased with the hotel-the view and the service. The people at the front dest and also the people who picked us up and dropped us off. We definetly will stay again. The Breakfast was not very good, but it gave us something to keep us going for awhile. The lunch and dinner was quite good and we felt the price was fine. Just to give you an example. I had a baked potato for dinner and it was not late. I belive it was around 6 p.m. It was so over cooked it was quite brown inside. The breakfast potatoes looked like over done baked potatoes were cut up and warmed up somehow. The staff really were incredible-even the wait-staff. The only staff person who acted very indiferent to any needs at breakfast was a lady who seemed to be in charage. I don't know her name, but she has blonde hair, I believe -straight. I heard someone tell her there was no more orange juice. She shrugged and said "there's probably some around here someplace" 15 minutes later orange juice was brought out. It was only around 9 a.m. so it wasn't like they were closing up. Another day-there was no milk in any of the pitchers-I mentioned it-she didn't say anything--just walked off. I stood around for more than 10 minutes and finally got the attention of some man who had come out of the kitchen and was talking on the phone. He finally got some milk for us. The eggs looked great, but tasted like they were fake eggs.. However---the rest was so wonderful-we will not tell anyone else how we felt about the food."
