| The beds and pillows were great. It's an older hotel, but the rooms are more modern than you would think. Very clean. |

| The overall stay was nice. Room was clean and pool area also. It is only a few miles from the mexico border, I didn't realize it was at the very south end of San Diego. I've only stayed in San Diego one other time (at the hotel circle) so the surrounding area wasn't as nice. The continental breakfast had a very nice room to eat in--I was impressed with that. |

| I was just going to be happy with getting a decent hotel at this very affordable rate.
I was DELIGHTED to see that the hotel was actually not just some cheap thrown together motel like so many others but had care taken in the design of it - including the furniture and lay-out of the interior of the room.
I also greatly appreciated the sweet and caring service when I arrived (in the middle of the night no less). And the neighborhood was FAR safer than I thought (I had been worried unnecessarily).
The particular room I stayed in had a bit of a smell - but it was a handicapped room (which fyi, was SPACIOUS) and I can see how it could be vulnerable to that considering (I'm not handicapped but I can imagine what that must be like).
All that disappeared as I fell asleep on a very comfortable bed (another PLUS!).
Recommend this highly! |

| I liked the hotel, would probably stay there again. The only complaint that I have is that the air conditioning did not work well. It was cooler outside at night than it was inside of the room. The drive from the hotel to Sea World was less than a half and hour and traffic wasn't bad. It was pretty cool that we are only 3 miles form the Mexican boarder. The hotel staff was friendly and my room was cleaned when I wasn't expecting it. I couldn't hear the other guest from my room, however I knew there were other guests because I saw them. |

| Close to Mexico border, San Diego proper and freeways. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very spacious room w/wetbar and flat screen TV. Beds were good, pillows a bit firm. Didn't use pool/hot tub, but they seemed fine. Not too many choices for restaurants, but again, a quick drive to downtown San Diego. Bypass Paula's Pancakes in Chula Vista, and beware of large spiders that spin their webs in stairwells at night. |

| overall was very good. Service was good and friendly. Luandry area had only one washer/dryer. The breakfast area was to crowded for the amount of people it was offered to. |
