Recent Best Western Seven Review: "After reading other reviews and seeing the prices, people really had me worried that this place was a dive and not good at all (mostly the reviews). But after staying there, I was completely surprised how opposite this hotel was of the negative reviews it received. My boyfriend and I couldnt've been happier! We had actually gotten there 3 hours before  check in ( it's at 3 pm) and all we wanted to do was sleep after driving for so long, before heading out to explore. They were extremely nice enough to check us in early (most place don't do that). We never had a single problem with the staff, they were very friendly and helpful and we were never ignored. Others made the rooms sound incredibly small, and honestly they weren't bad. Who spends a whole lot of time in a hotel room besides to sleep and showerr We had no problems with bugs or sand in the bed or any funky smells in the room. The bed was quite comfy and our room was always cleaned and redone when we got back. The bathrooms were well kept too, and the only problem we had with water temperature was when our toilet was flushed, other than that we had as much hot water as we wanted. The location was great! Very close to everything we wanted to do (sea world, pet co park, gas lamp district, etc) at most 10 minute drive. And the staff was more than happy to help us find our way around. Parking wasn't a problem, and I never worried about my car. And we never had problems about the freeway either; we never heard it. Their pool and hot tubs were nice, though crowded with rowdy kids (there was a football tournament going on when we were there). There's also a $75 dollar deposit to cover any damages that will be returned to you 3 to 5 days after your stay if everything's fine. And it does say it on here. Over all we had a great experience and had nothing to complain about. You know how they say "you get what you paid for," I think we got more. Or maybe we just arent picky when it comes to hotels, but we really enjoyed ou"
