Recent Catamaran Resort Review: "OUr family of 5 stayed at the resort on the off season. It was from a Tues - Sat. Highly recommend staying during the week as it is so peaceful and you will likely be upgraded if you ask. We were to be on the 3 floor but I asked to be as high as possible because of our 4 month old baby and sleeping situations with noise. She put us on the 12th...one floor below the penthouse! I also left my exspensive camera zoom lens in the room after check out and it went safely to security. I realized it was missing days later after being home and called as a long shot that they may have it - THEY DID!! I can not say enough how great our stay was but it got pretty busy on the weekend. I will definatly return. My kids LOVED the arcade and the large jacuzzi. Just one street away from mission beach (walking) and subway and BK walking distance too!! Loved the full kitchen option, life saver. The room was huge. Great vacation spot for a family for sure!"

This resort is located on what is reputedly the world's largest aquatic park. Mission Bay offers a host of water sports including pedal boats, kayaks, waverunners, ski boats, sailboats, and catamarans. Most equipment can be rented at the resort.

Koi swim in the many ponds while colorful macaws call overhead. The South Seas-style lobby boasts a cascading rock waterfall that flows into a pastoral pond. The full-service spa and salon features a health club and an outdoor spa tub with 360-degree views of Mission Bay. Training equipment is available on an outdoor patio and in the elaborate indoor facility. Al fresco yoga and Pilates classes are scheduled on a secluded lawn that adjoins the beach. A tropical outdoor pool lures sun seekers and a video arcade attracts gamers. The Atoll restaurant serves California cuisine and is known for its lavish champagne brunches. Mission Bay's soft, sandy beaches stretch along the vast Pacific shoreline within 100 yards of the Catamaran Resort and Spa. Mission Bay Aquatic Park lies adjacent to this California resort, SeaWorld is three miles away and historic Old Town is six miles from the resort.
