Recent Comfort Gaslamp Convention Review: "I drove from Orange County to San Diego to attend a conference at the conventional center. The hotel was a short walk to the convention center. The man who checked me in let me park my car there and check-in at 7:30 am, which was wonderful. (My check in time was supposed to be at 3:30 pm.) He also gave me a breakfast ticket for that morning, which was also a pleasant surprise. Parking was $16 per day. The room was small but adequate for a single person. I got the standard double, which actually has a full size bed, not a queen or two twins. So, I can see that it might be small for two large people. Breakfast was the best part of the day. They served bacon, eggs, sausage, orange juice, cereal. My favorite breakfast item was freshly made waffles. I had a very good experience. The only inconvenient thing was when my remote to the TV broke and I had to get it fixed. (It took the night boy 3 times to figure out what was wrong with it.)"
