Recent Comfort Old Town Review: "I have stayed in the hotel once previously and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in San Diego. On both occastions, my stay was very pleasent. The entire staff including housekeeping and the shuttle drives are friendly and knowledgeable. They will go out of their way to assist you whenever possible.
The surrouding area is very clean and I felt very safe. We walked around and everyone we encountered were friendly. The only downfall is the walk to any store or restaurant is kinda long. The nearest party store is about 7 or 8 blocks away. The motel parking is nice because it is underground and very secure. They do not charge for parking and an elevator is available from the parking level. The continential breakfast in the morning is the best I have ever had. It has both hot and cold food available. I arrived toward the end of breakfast on several occastion and there was still plenty of selection to choose from. The pool is outside but is heated. It was very clean and towels were always available. The hot tub was also fantastic, very warm and relaxing!
I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone."

| The hotel was a bit further from Old Town than we expected, so a pretty extended walk to restaurants, etc. in Old Town, but it was also quiet. The room was nice, clean and a bit larger than we expected. We usually stay at a bit (a lot) fancier hotel down in the Gaslamp quarter, but found that, from a practical standpoint of quick access to the car/room/freeway, this was actually far more convienient, albeit less "posh" and was about half the price of the other. Nothing spectacular, but perfectly functional for our annual Xmas visit, where we are constantly visiting relatives and spending very little time in the hotel room. |

| The 24 hour hot tub was the winner for us. We had been in and out of a car for 9 days, 2100 miles. The hot tub was very hot and felt great. We got back in early the next morning before heading out on a plane to Alaska. It was a little older but very clean. |

| Very satisfied with this hotel, the only minor thing was that their gym equipments were outdated. The handle to the stair master was broken, threadmill was difficult to turn on at times. Other than that, we were completely satisfied with our stay here. |

| Love the breakfast!!!! Great choices and well maintained. I ate cereal, bagel, waffles, yogurt, banana and some tea. I have stayed at other ComfortInn but this one had bigger room, quieter environment (despite the fact that it was right next to the fwy... it was very quiet), great customer service @ the front desk. Can't complain at all. I will definitely go back to this place again !! |

| I read some of the previous reviews of this hotel and thought "oh no" this will be a problem. I was pleasantly surprised with everything. The noise that many complained about was non-exsistent (but we did keep the a/c on full blast -- good white noise). We did not use the pool or hot tub facilities, but they looked clean. The only complaint I can scrounge up is the smoking outside, but you know move if you don't like it, right? |

| This room was very satisfactory for us. We couldn't hear the traffic, the parking was easy and we couldn't hear any other of the patrons. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. |
