| Rooms small, but well maintained. Rooms facing Webb Lake are especially pleasant. It is a small community lake with ducks, turtles, and lots of trees and grass. Walls are thin and we had noisy group next door one night of the three. We enjoyed being able to walk to Coco's, Denny's, and the shopping center. You can use your own DVD player with the flat-screen TV. |

| Good Hotel in the Rancho Bernardo area. Close to the freeway. The views overlooking the pond are romantic. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Bed was comfy and room was clean. |

| i would only recommend this hotel if you need to stay in that area. the general area is fine, with a couple plazas, vons and some restaurants, but it's obviously not a tourist attraction area. the hotel needs updating. the AC/heating system is old, and it is very loud. you cannot really set the room at certain temperature. it's either hot or cold. when you feel cold, you go turn on the heater. then the room gets really hot and dry. when you feel hot, you have to go physically turn the AC on until you feel cool enough to turn it off. the park and the pond in the back is very nice. on a nice day, you can spend some time with the ducks, which my son enjoyed a lot. overall, it's an older hotel that need some updating, especially their AC/heating system. otherwise it's a decent place to stay in the rancho bernardo area in san diego. |

| The bathroom shower ceiling had mildew issues. The "office" computer was slower than dial up. The courtisey van didn't start until after 7am- which was not noted anywhere. The breakfast was overpriced. The employees were very nice- not a bad apple among them. Room layout was nice & didn't hear any Highway 15 noise. Would have no problems staying there again. Easy access for other places to eat. NO signs to get to the hotel, went in a few circles before I called to get turn by turn directions. Went to Animal Safari- 20min away- easy on/off highway |

| It is an older Marriot location but clean. Bath was backed up in first room but they moved me another room where the bath was fine. Convenient location but parking was bad. |

| Arrived later in the evening and the staff was courteous and swift. The room was comfortable. In my opinion, the bed was okay. Nothing special to mention. The room was clean. LCD TV. Air conditioning and heating were working as they should. The bathroom was clean. Decor is updated. Very standard room as expected. |

Only items to change: hotel only had comforters and soft pillows - would have preferred a choice. |

| We were very pleased with this hotel. Our room was very clean and fresh. The king bed was comfortable and the refrig and microwave were nice additions. We took the courtesy shuttle service to the nearby steak house where we had a wonderful dinner. Defintely would return again. |

| Great stay. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean and beds were awesome. Some things were kind of expensive inside the hotel. Overall best hotel experience ever. |
