Recent Days Harbor View Review: "Yes, this is a two star hotel; Yes its on the older side..but really, no complaints. We showed up way before the check in time but they held our luggage (and let use a restroom) so we could wander around..the location is perfect, you're right next to the harbor with all the cruise ships, etc, less than a mile from seaport village, little italy, its  a quick walk to gaslamp district... Close to transit for the zoo, etc. The free breakfast was not amazing but it did have pastries, breads and cereals. There is a train near by but it didnt run through the night (THANK GOODNESS!) We used the free shuttle to and from the airport which was a great plus! The TV had lots of channels and was a flat screen. The bathroom was small but updated and clean. Ironing board, hair dryer, microwave and fridge - all nice to have around! I would stay here again for any trips to San Diego!"
