Recent Embassy La Jolla Review: "This was a great hotel. Our kids loved the indoor pool, it was close (about 20 minutes) to Balboa Park and Sea World, breakfast and afternoon drinks& snacks were great (and complimentary), and staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the $19 charge for parking. We paid it the first night, but had no problem finding street parking the next two nights. If you're willing to walk a block or two (maybe a 3 or 4 minute walk), you can easily save the $19 daily parking fee. Just make sure to call the front desk and remind them not to charge you for nights you leave your car on the street. They automatically charged us for all 3 nights (even though we only swiped our room key into the and out of the parking garage within the first 14 hours of our stay. The staff at the front desk was very fast to credit the money back onto my Visa once I brought it to their attention. Although it was in La Jolla, it wasn't very close to the beach. Still, I would definately stay here again."
