Recent Hampton Del Mar Review: "My husband and stayed here for a quick Memorial Day weekend getaway. This hotel is located just minutes from the sand and shores of Del Mar and the Fairgrounds. While the establishment itself is located in a business district and directly off the freeway, it was still comfortable, very clean and impressive! Our room was spacious and our bed and pillows very comfortable. Service was courteous and everyone had a smile. My husband's favorite feature was the continental breakfast. Their menu changed each day and it comprised of both hot and cold foods, bagels, tea, coffee, yogurt, cereal a variety of juices and fruit. One day we had waffles and sausage and the next day eggs and english muffins. We probably saved ourselves about 30.00 a day just by having our breakfast here! They also have a computer with complimentary internet available for guests. We searched things to do and places to go from here. Parking was free and either in an underground garage which was secured at night or in convenient spaces just outside the hotel entrance. Only drawback - very small pool with no jacuzzi. Otherwise we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel, hands down!"
