Recent Hilton Garden Del Mar Review: "Our stay was great, the king bed was very comfortable, and the cleanliness was top notch. The hotel is in a secluded nice neighborhood and it was very quiet and clean. It's near the freeway, but not so close that you get all the freeway noise. There were only two issues that we experienced - 1. The pillows were very soft, went down to the front desk  at midnight to get a couple of firm pillows and no one was around, 1 hour later there was still no one there, only a paper sign that said Be right back... 2. The fact that they charge $50 per night in addition to your room rate for incidentals, like if you get room service, or take food from the pantry, ect... It would have been nice to know this in advance before I got a random charge of $100.00 on my card, and im still waiting for it to be reimbursed since we did not purchase anything from the hotel, this is very inconvenient."
