Recent Holiday Express Mission Review: "Exceptional staff, upon check in, provided us with a sheet of directions for the most popular attractions, room was large and very comfortable, breakfast was great, hotel was a little hard to find, but once you do, you realize how close you are to San Diego's attractions. Parking is tight but it is free. There was a $10 resort fee for one day only, we stayed 3. Would definitely stay there again, price can not be beat for what you get."

| The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The hotel was in a very busy area. Did not like that. Too much traffic and noise. Could use some updating. The breakfast was a great surprise. Full breakfast and tasted good also. |

| We stayed for four nights. Four adults-no kids.
Pros: Staff friendly and knowledgeable of the area & attractions. Cleaning staff very professional, courteous and quick. Rooms were kept clean.
Cons: Breakfast area VERY cramped. Too many people, too small a space. Hallways also small compared to other HIE stays.
Hotel had look and feel of converted storage building. Hallways cramped, parking cramped, elevator old and very slow. Situated between three freeways and major city intersection. Don't count on having windows open.
Bottom line: Need a place to sleep? It'll do. Don't count on extras, big spaces to relax outside of room, or even a stretch around the property. Very noisy neighborhood, and I don't recommend going out at night. |

| I read all the reviews before selecting this hotel. The location is next to the highway and easy to get to. It is close to the ocean beaches (I ran and walked to Mission Bay beach--20-minute run/40-minute walk--even. The continental breakfast was excellent. The staff was great and responsive. The pool was nice. For a Holiday Inn Express, it was excellent. |

| THE HOTEL WAS A GREAT DEAL. GREAT PRICE FOR SAN DIEGO AND JUST MINUTES FROM THE BEACH. ONLY DOWN FALL WAS ITS KINDA HIDDEN. THE ROOM HAS CLEAN AND HAD COLD A/C. THE HALL WAYS AND ELEVATOR DIDNT SEEM TO HAVE A/C, BUT WHO HANGS OUT IN THE HALLWAYS? I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMAND IT TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A DEAL. ITS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL BUT ITS THE BEST DEAL IVE FOUND. |

| This hotel was easy find and close to the interstate and they were very accomadating to our needs. Parking was a little tight but covered and easily accessible. I would definitely stay there again. |
