Recent Indigo Gaslamp Quarter Review: "the hotel is beautiful inside. the rooms are attractive and clean. the beds are very comfortable and clean. there is a large bathroom with a very nice shower stall. our room had no bathtub which was ok with us. the room had a very nice HD tv with HBO and all the sports channels. there is free Wi-Fi in all the rooms and down in the lobby. there is a small restaurant but we did not eat there. When we drove in, we actually could not find the hotel right away because it blended in with the neighborhood. We went to San Diego to watch the SF Giants vs the SD Padres and the hotel was within walking distance to the park. took us about 5-10 minutes to get there. the area around the park is clean and very safe. we were able to walk around the Gaslamp are and have dinner and lunch without any problems. It was a truly wonderful experience for my daughter and me because this was our first visit to San Diego and we plan to go again and stay at the Hotel Indigo. the only negative comment is that it cost us $32 per night to park. they have no self-parking, only valet. for that amount we might have been able to stay one more night."
