Recent Kona Kai Resort Review: "This was an awesome getaway. The property is at the end of Shelter Island. There is a great view of the bay from just about every room. It also had a walking park across the street. It was very peaceful and quiet for the most part. If you are by the pool area you will hear the guest enjoying themselves in the pool. While all the views are nice, next  time we will chose a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor with a view of the bay away from the pool. The room was very nice and clean. Some have complained about there not being a flat screen tv in the rooms. We were not there for tv but the location. The staff went above and beyond. We dropped a family member off at the airport very early and needed some sleep. They allowed us to check in at 7am and didn't charge for another night. Be warned that you will be charged a $15 parking fee but your vehicles are in a secured lot. This was a very relaxing getaway."
