Recent Manchester Grand Hyatt Review: "This was our first time in San Diego, and the hotel staff at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego made our visit very pleasant and relaxing. The hotel itself is conveniently located on the harbor, and within walking distance of the Gas Lamp Quarter. Parking was available on site (this is what we chose to do) although the city train was available across the street (not close enough to be a nuisance but not so far as to be inconvenient). Also, a ferry to Coronado Island set off from a dock quite close to the hotel. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful as soon as we checked in, giving us a map and suggestions on what to see during our stay and the best way tot get there. The room was clean and gorgeous, our view from the 23rd floor was second only to the view from the bar on the 40th floor. The roof deck pool was as nice as the pictures make it seem (felt pretty luxurious), and the hotel contained every amenity we could have possibly needed. While it is in a centralized location, the hotel itself is definitely a bit touristy but not in a bad way. We were able to easily explore the city and had a comfortable home base to return to at the end of each day. It was worth the money, we honestly had no complaints at all. I would stay here again without hesitation the next time I travel to San Diego."
