| I have stayed at the Omni and the Hardrock in downtown San Diego and I must say that the Hyatt is up there in terms of quality. The Gaslamp is just a walk away and the hotel is close to the water. I'm planning on heading down there for the Dodgers vs Padres game this year so I might be staying here again. Great staff and very helpful. 5 stars. Stay on the 4th floor, everything is there. |

| Excellent location, close to the marina and a lot of shops and restaurants. But because it is a great hotel the period we stayed (the last 10 days of 2011), the hotel was completed full. We had to wait sometimes 30 minutes to be seat for breakfast . But I still recommend the hotel |

| Great location, was suprised by the marine layer! Close to everything, great staff, great in-hotel bar/restaurant Redfield's!! Had the best time there ringing in the New Year! Only problem was that the ice machine right outside our room leaked and the floor was soaked, I slipped on floor and the carpet was wet all the way into our room and down the hall. A little noisy due to being right outside our room. May have been some mold, since my husband is really sick now since our stay. No other complaints! A bit expensive, but worth it for the New Year! |

| We got a great deal for Christmas for an bay/. It was beautiful view. Good location close to downtown san Diego- about 10 min walking. Back of the hotel is the sea port village where there r shops and good places to eat. U can also rent boats, cruise etc. Parking at the hotel is expensive but there r free overnight parking if u can get one. V found free parking for 3 nights. Overall very relaxing hotel. But one day v did have to request extra sugar/coffee. |

It is close to San Diego convention center, Gas Lamp, Westfield, sea port village, etc..

| This Hotel was a great surprise. Both a great price, a great location, great facility, and most important, great service. From the moment we arrived late at night until we left, everyone we interacted with was just doing an amazing job! Made it a GREAT vacation. |

| One of the best experiences I ever had at a hotel. I had inadvertently booked my room a week later than my actual arrival. The front desk personnel made the changes and instead of tacking on additional fees, they upgraded my room and gave me free internet access. It's an elegant hotel with all of the amenities, but it's their staff that sets them apart. The next time you are in San Diego, stay at the aptly named Grand Hyatt. |

| Wonderful hotel next to downtown, Seaport Village, Gaslamp, etc. Hotel staff will bend over backwards to assist you and make you feel welcome. Lots of amenities in the hotel so you never have to leave the grounds if you so wish!
The only negative is that the parking is very expensive --plus valet parking is another $10 on top of that. AND no free wifi/internet anywhere (which became rather pricy after our 11 day stay).
But, we will be returning and recommending for visitors! |
