Recent Mission Valley Resort Review: "I really thought the Mission Valley Resort was well worth it. I had never been to San Diego before and I couldn't afford the rates of some of the downtown places. I ended up very satisfied. The location is close to Ocean Beach and Mission Bay as well as the Old Town neighborhood. The staff at the inn were accommodating and friendly. The housekeeping staff were very thorough. At the inn there is a heated pool and hot tub that are usable until 9 p.m. Additionally, the diner on hand is very reasonable. There is access to a Frog's Gym, which is located right behind the establishment. I can't say enough about the place. I would certainly recommend it if you're not interested in staying downtown or just want to save money without sleeping in hole."
