| The rates for this hotel seemed too good to be true. They were. Start with your room having a dedicated parking space that still costs ~$25/night to food that is way overpriced ($3 for a banana!). The beach on the lagoon was not so well kept and the rooms, while comfortable, was a little worn. Kinda had a ship-wrecked feel to it. That said, for the price it was a nice quiet place to stay not too far from downtown SD and right next to Sea World. It's a fine place, just not as nice a resort as people made it out to be. The concierge was very helpful. |

| I was disapointed about the service of this beautiful hotel. The room was very nice and the location fantastic, but the room service was very slow (ej. 1 hour for a tea) and they take more than an hour to bring us a couple of extra towels. |

| Saw the pics on the website and I was so excited to stay at Paradise Point. When I arrived the room had a slight odor and the bathroom had the odor of mildew. I did like the assigned parking space. The food in the bar and grill was good. The kids enjoyed feeding the fish and ducks. Liked the fire pits on the beach. |

| We have stayed at this hotel 4 times in a year! It is like an Hawaiian Island away in San Diego. WE LOVE IT, everytime we go. Very relaxing, amazing atmosphere! |

| Outstanding location and that is what you are paying for the hotel is so-so. There are much better hotels nearby which are as close to the bay but much closer to the ocean. Beware that if have a car the will ding you another $25 a day to park. |

| We got a special rate on our room so were very happy overall. We went the 1st week in October, still summer in San Diego, but no bar or food service at the pool. We were told it was because summer is over. We could have ordered from room service to the pool with $4 a pop delivery fee. First hotel I have EVER stayed at without a coffepot in the room, strange since it also had a kitchenette! The food was good in the on-site upscale resturant but was overpriced. The bar and grill resturant is supposed to be "family friendly" but was also overpriced and doesn't appear to cater to children. Overall, nice for an anniversary night but probably not for a family vacation. Location and grounds are beautiful though! |

| Location was great. Service was very good. The villa was a bit rustic (out-dated), right on the water, and by no means luxury accommodations. On-site dining is limited two options plus very expensive room service. The Barefoot Bar I would avoid - service was horrible and they ran out of food during dinner service on Friday night. The food and service at Baleen was outstanding - but so are the prices. Overall a good weekend or short stay getaway. |

| Our family - the adults and children alike enjoyed the 5 pools, lagoon with beach,restaurants, duck pond, and sandy beach on the bay. |
