| I loved the whole retro feel of the hotel and room. I was surprised how clean it was. The bar/resturant needs more variety on the menu. |

| Une jolie chambre simple, design, avec un poisson dans son bocal, un patio, des meubles pratiques (table à repasser, nombreuses serviettes). Le matelas n'était pas super confort, et attention hôtel bruyant (ils jouent au bingo au bord de la piscine jusqu'à minuit, pour les couche-tôts c'est pas l'idéal). Mais on se gare facilement dans les environs, même si le quartier n'est pas très intéressant (en voiture c'est pas très grave). Mais à 20 euros de plus qu'un motel traditionnel c'est quand même une belle affaire, et un lieu assez unique. |

| Staff was super friendly and helped us find a local restaurant as the hotel was having a private food event the night we stayed there. The room was small but comfortable and we loved the design style of the place. We will definitely come back again. I am a stickler for clean rooms and this one was immaculate. |

| I loved staying at The Pearl. I had a great room overlooking the pool and was even able to watch the Dive-In movie from the comfort of my room. As a big fan of minimalist and Mid-Century Modern, I really enjoyed the decor. I stayed here knowing it wouldn't be a quiet getaway, so be warned if you're a light sleeper, this may not be the hotel for you. I was right above the bar/restaurant, so I could hear the music all of the time during my stay. I also really enjoyed having an iPod dock so I could queue up my own tunes on demand. The bed was very comfortable and I just wish my stay could've been longer. I really enjoyed being in my old neighborhood. I was born and raised in San Diego and spent most of my adult life in Ocean Beach. |

| It was very nice and comfy. Perfect location from where my meetings were. Loved the fish Barnaby in the room. : ) |

| I've now stayed at the Pearl about 6 times. The only thing more impressive then the clean and stylish rooms are the awesome people that work there. I can see why I don't just meet travelers at the bar/restaurant but there are always local visitors as well.
Great place with great people! |

| We have stayed here before. Every time we are enchanted. My only complaint is the single room chair.
We were last here on the current chefs first week. He clearly has found his voice , his own take on the donuts and other legacy items . We will be back! |

| It was quite loud and had a cigarette smell, and being allergic to cigarettes I did not like that at all. The power went out when we woke up which put our getting ready routine back a little. When I went to check out the girl was a little rude. |

| This is a very cute hotel with an interesting bar/restaurant. Great dinner deals on Monday, 10 superior local brews on draft and "dive-in" poolside films on Wednesdays. Great location if you are trying to get out and experiance multiple places in San Diego as it is close to downtown yet convenient access to freeways to visit areas to the north like La Jolla as well. |
