| Pros:
The room was clean and nice.
Cons:
- Because is to close to the airport, you heard the noise of the plains every 15 to 20 min.
- There is a hidden fee of 22 dlls per night for parking lot. So if you're planning to stay few days, get your wallet ready.
- You can heard any luggage rolling when passing by.
This hotel is ok for emergency but not for long stay. |

| Cute urban living town, with a real comfortable and progressive feel. I had homemade Italian food at Bencotto's and a delicious healthy breakfast at Influx (these two places are right next to each other within 1 minute walking distance from hotel). Hotel is 1 mile from Convention Center. If you need a ride to and from hotel, I recommend taking the shuttle they offer for $5 one way, rather than a taxi for $11 one way. Otherwise, parking is $22 per night with their valet service. As for the room, it was cute and a good size. It is so convenient to have the vanity outside of the toilet and shower. The hotel has more of a motel feel as from the lobby, you take the elevator to your floor, and from there you get to your room by walking outside along the decking but not on the edge of the street, but near the "courtyard," which is the underground. Another thing was the furniture was old looking and the wall heater was falling apart (but it worked very well). Lastly, the restaurant on the top floor was not Italian at all, and was overpriced for what the menu looked like (I did not eat there); they do have a full bar as well. Other than these few item, for what I paid overall on my trip, I definitely didn't spend as much as what the rates are per night at the hotels closer to the Convention Center. Plus, me being a woman on my own for the first day I was very comfortable walking around at night and in the morning. It was a great urban feel and I would definitely return. |

| Stayed at this hotel with my BF from 11/9-11/12. Our room was very affordable and much larger than expected- nothing fancy about it but it was very clean, had a king bed, large sitting area with fold-out sofa, wet bar with microwave, large walk-in shower AND separate jet tub, lots of closet space/drawers. I believe we were in the un-renovated section as our room did not have the murals/modern look of the photos but it was nice. The hotel is in a great location- the Little Italy neighborhood- with many bars, restaurants, shops and galleries within blocks, farmer's market down the block on Saturday, blocks from the waterfront (where we walked the pathway to the Gaslamp District for shopping and more food.)
The only cons:
- $22/night parking (We didn't need a car at all in this area and should have skipped it...would have been a VERY short cab ride from the airport.)
- our room did not have a refrigerator
- the rooftop bar was very loud at night (which didn't bother us too much.)
FYI- The walkways to the rooms are open air and under renovation.
Good hotel, great value, would stay there again. |

| I wish the rooms were as cool as the lobby. The room I had was very small and the bathroom was outdated. The restaurant was wonderful, with a great view and good food. The valet parking was convenient and the attendant was good with directions of where we needed to go. |

| I likethis hotel very much and have stayed there several time. Location, rooms and price are great. BUT there is a large construction project going on across the street. they start at 730am and VERY loud. if you stay at Porto Vista make sure you do NOT have a room facing the construction. |

| The Glass door restaurant offers great service, good quality fare and a nice view of the San Diego harbor from a distance.
The room was comfortable but a few minor maintenance items showed a lack of attention to detail - the armoire hinge needed repair, the commode is not securely bolted to the floor which may explain the discolored caulk at the base.
Valet parking at $22/night or on-street at $10 is convenient if you have a vehicle.
The staff was friendly and attentive. |

| Location was excellent. Little Italy is right down the street. Ate dinner at felipis it was amazing. Hotel is nice great view from the bar. Rooms were ok. Beds were comfortable. Tv was old and small. And no remote for the tv which is bad in 2011 as far as customer service goes. Asked for a remote and was told it would be hard to find and then later got a remote that didnt work. Not that big of a deal tho since we wanted to be out and about. 22$ park fee would suck if you're staying multiple days. |
