| The hotel was very good regarding the low rate we got. No extra rate for using the parking, pool, breakfast buffet (waffles, coffee, juice, oatmeal, yoghurt, bread etc.), wifi and the rooms had microwave and fridge.The hotel staff were polite and very nice. The only minus is that the hotel seems to use some cleaning soap or perfume that doesn't smell too good. But that's a small thing. I would recommend this hotel! |

| I found overall the Hotel amenities quite good, although the Hotel does need a refurbishment and appears to be underway with that in a staged manner.
Apart from the above the staff were attentive, courteous and helpful. The Fitness Room was good and front of house staff were helpful with directions and information on San Diego and the Mission Valley area.
Ricky's next door was a welcome to the complimentary breakfast at Ramada so choice was close at hand.
What I found difficult had nothing to do with the Hotel. It is more about the whole Hotel Circle area and the fact that as a Tourist it is not easy to access - bit that presents a wider problem for San Diego County. The upgrade of road networks is so like unravelling spaghetti wire in the area that I cannot see. It happening, as well the Gaslamp area is too built up now to take on more accommodation. It presents a planning problem to San Diego.
I suggest some Research and Development into upgrading the whole accommodation concept and perhaps look at some future developments that. Take into account more aesthetic boutique properties- perhaps by the sea and promote them heavily in Australia and Europe. People are much more at home with that.
Online Villas are outrageously overpriced in San Diego and must be unoccupied most of the year as no-one is going to pay $3.5 k a well when you can go the. Florida Keys in Winter and find bungalow accom for $800 to $1.5k per week. I know where I would rather be.
Crime seems to be a worry here. About 6 murders in a week. That will not turn tourists on at all!
No cabs on NYE after 10pm, could not even book, so I had to hitch 10 miles back to my Hotel.
Hotel Circle for Tourist Safety needs a courtesy coach for guest safety that can be booked as well and can be user pays on a as and when required basis.
I got back to my Hotel, but as I had no alternate modes of transport on NYE, I well could have been te. Seventh person murdered.

| Front desk was especially nice from check-in to check-out. Room was nice, plenty of hot water for showers. Just fix the shower curtains, they don't fit. Otherwise very nice stay. |

| The hotel was "ok". We were just staying overnight so it was just what we needed, nothing more. I liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room, especially because I had my one year old daughter with me. I was able to have the basic necessities for her without worring about spoilage. I would not recommend this hotel if you're going away for a romantic weekend...choose a nicer hotel. But if it's just a quick overnight it'll work just fine. Breakfast...well there's not much a variety. Basics only. |

| The room was clean and fairly spacious and the staff was helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was worth the short walk to the dinning area and parking wasn't really an issue for us. Overall the convenience of the hotel helped make our trip a little bit easier mentally and financially |

| The rooms were too small and the building was old. The flush was way too loud. Was hoping for a good breakfast buffet but other than make your own waffle, the rest of it were the usual stuff. The location was quite good as it was few minutes away from Sea World and zoo which is where we had been to. |

| The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, when we checked in to our room the room was very dirty. When we notified the desk they were very sorry and moved our room. |

| Everything was good. My only suggestion is remodeling the complimentary breakfast area. Carpet seemed old and dirty as well as furniture. We skipped it the second morning. |
