| Considering the reviews I read I was wondering what we had in store for us (my colleague booked the motel based on the price and proximity to the airport). It is not as bad as other reviewers say. The service and room was similar to other motels I've been at. The location may not be suitable for families with kids (there's a strip club next door) and light sleepers. With the airport, trolley and train line, harbor ships nearby, and a turbine factory across the road there's plenty of noise around - but the room was pretty quiet and did not trouble me or my colleague. The motel is very close to the airport, but not that close to the convention center - it takes 30-40 minutes to walk to the center/ downtown. You can rent bicycles which will get you downtown in 10 minutes or get a bus. The funny part is that the trolley line runs behind the motel but there's no trolley stop anywhere nearby. Little Italy is close by and there's a 7/11 nearby too. All-in-all, it's a decent place to stay for business or if you plan to use the room mainly for the night. |

| This hotel's advantage is the convenient location to the airport, airport parking, public transport, bay, highway, downtown, and zoo, and its moderate price. But there are lots of other hotels to choose from that are much nicer for the price, especially if you're bringing your family for a vacation to San Diego. There's a strip club next door and a Denny's. |

| Typical well used Motel 6. Got into the airport at 11:30 pm and left San Diego at 8:00 am. It was close, the quality was known and it was relatively inexpensive. |

| No extras; no iron, closet, etc. For the overnight for the cruise, or an early flight, or to somewhere else, fine. Otherwise, go elsewhere. It's no nonsense. 3min from the airport, 3 mins from the Cruise Terminal. It serves a very basic purpose. In and out. |

| Hope you sleep soundly because it is not only right next to the airport, it is also next to a working railroad & a busy street. Smelled like an ashtray. Bed was lumpy, could feel the springs in the bed dugging into my ribs. At least the heater worked. |

| The location is great, no more than 10 minutes from balboa park, old town and horton plaza. The amount of air traffic was to be expected with the proximity of the airport, and really did not bother us too much. We did have an issue with some rowdy college age students drinking in a room near the parking lot, but otherwise, a good place to stay for those who don't wish to spend a lot of money. Front desk service was very prompt, as well. |
