Recent Sheraton Marina Review: "Having stayed in this hotel before, I knew that it was in a great location and was going to be the perfect place to stay again. It is central to almost everything and there are a lot of great places to eat in the area. The room was great, the view was fantastic. My only complaint about the view is that their was a boat in the marina that was having  a party - a very loud party! We were on the 7th floor and could hear it way up there! I do have one complaint about the room - the housekeeping. And this is not the first time I have complained about this issue. The first day they cleaned our room, I came back to find crumbs on top of a freshly made bed. The next day they short sheeted the bed! The housekeeper failed to put away the hair dryer (Okay, yes, I could have just put it away, but isn't that the point of vacationr Having someone to do those little things, rightr) They were also very stingy with the soap. We had to request that they give us new soap even though we were down to almost none in the room. It wasn't just our room, either. Our daughter stayed in another room in the Lanai section and her room was not cleaned at all one day. Housekeeping's excuse was that the "Do Not Disturb" sign was out and that they were not allowed to enter the room. This was just that - an excuse. My daughter made sure to make the effort to take it off the door! I would like to say that the bar downstairs was excellent! We went in there for desert, because it was my birthday. The lava cake was to die for! And they made the special effort to put a little "Happy Birthday" sign on the plate and then when the bill came they didn't charge us for it! TIP: If you can stay in a "Club" level room and it isn't very expensive - it is worth it! We had the internet (although it was very slow) and breakfast upstairs included. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but it was free. And compared to the breakfast in the resaurant downstairs, it was almost exactly the same as the buffet and $19 less expensive!"
