| Terrific remodel job. Room & bath full of conveniences in design. Super soft bath towels. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Only problem was w. weak handheld TV control, even though maintenance was quick to respond to our request for help w. this. He also noticed & fixed small problem w. room air/heat vent & fixed it immediately.
Great atmosphere. We'd like to return to this one! |

| Old hotel, rooms are VERY small. Beds are not too comfortable, but great location. I did not like the $8 "service fee" automatically charged per day, just for water and coffee. Parking is $30 per day. The restaurant is convenient and has good food. |

| A gem,small but comfortable and convent. The Train Station is a must area in downtown. |

| A remodeled historic hotel that blends pieces of the past with modern updates. Old staircases and. Equatorial finishes. The workout and yoga rooms were very nicely laid out. Oversized towels after the shower was a treat. The room had so much well appointed storage space it was great. A reasonably priced hotel that offers 5-star upgrades. A must stay just a few blocks from the bay, Gaslamp or Little Italy. |

| Room was small but design was cool and hip. location was right downtown. Be prepared for valet parkingof $30 a day. Service was superb. |

| Enjoyed the upscale boutique ambiance of the Sofia especiall during the holidays when the trees were artistically designed, organic and beautiful anything but your run-of-the-mill red ornament put together with last year's half off drug store decorations. The welcoming Hispanic woman (can't remember her name) was charming and went out of her way to answer questions and direct us to nearby restaurants and shopping numerous times with a warm and caring attitude. The room is small, but lovely and the bed most comfortable. Parking is expensive and I didn't appreciat the resort fee that so many boutique hotels impose, but I would come back to the Sofia in a hearbeat. |

| Room was really small and the walls were very thin as well. Not the best lovers get away as you hear every word being said in the room next to yours. Nice hotel overall though. Well kept and cute. Nice staff. No room service though :( |

| Well run hotel. Small but nice and very clean rooms. Staff is very nice and very helpful. Great gym for a small hotel and lovely lobby with iced water and complimentary and USA today. Complimentary bottled water in the room. Walking distance to Horton Plaza and many restaurants and bars. Cannot beat the pricing! |
