Recent Super 8 La Mesa Review: "For the price, this small motel is an exceptional value. The owners/reception staff were very welcoming and most helpful with any needs. The recently remodeled rooms are quiet and very nice, and while not enormous are certainly a decent size - I had a room with one queen-sized bed. The refrigerator and microwave were great for use when I didn't want  to eat at a restaurant, although there were plenty nearby. The only downside I actually experienced was the parking - the spaces are quite slim, and when big trucks and SUVs pulled in, they made parking and access difficult - that and those who can't seem to park a car in any space no matter the size! I will definitely be staying here on my next visit to the San Diego area."
