| Perfect, is the word I would use to describe my stay at the W-San Diego. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one of our spontaneous getaways that we have every other month, and we just loved it.
The staff was very poliet and knowledgable. The location was amazing and convenient. Almost everything was walking distant, and not to mention their free transportation around the local areas. The rooms were bigger then expected, since i went not expecting much. It was very clean and modern/hip.
I had problems with the W-Silicon Valley and was skeptical about this place, but this W has redeemed its name and won me back.
The only issue i had was the parking fee. $35 a day! Just wished it would be free or cheaper for the price we pay for the Hotel alone.
Bottom line is we would definitely stay here the next time we come down to San Diego. :) |

| great hotel, the room was amazing, pity about the noisy trains that woke us up every night (Although i think this would be the case in the whole of San Diego) and the expensive wifi. Hotels like this should provide it with the room |

| The W Hotel in San Diego is a funky property downtown a few blocks from the bay. The staff was amazing. The concierge Michelle was incredibly helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The bar and restaurant staff was friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. |

| The front desk and the concierge combined to help me surprise my fiancee' with a room full of champagne and chocolate cake. They really went above and beyond. Recommend to anyone. |

| I loved the hotel, I would like to stay more day to enjoy it. Pretty close to Convention Center if you are going to attend a meeting there and excellent location for shopping. |

| Okay lets get somethings clear………..the hotel was clean, had interesting décor, the food was amazing, and the rooms where nice. I opted for the green option (I was tired and just wanted to get some sleep in the room as fast as possible), which means the room did not get serviced during the entire stay, I found this out later(the lady at the front desk might have mentioned it but again I was too tired to pay any attention). I think the green option should at least include making the room, just not replacing every towel (everyday). For that reason I am not putting the room condition at the top of the rankings.
The hotel does not have a Parking, which can put a dent in your pocket if you go the valet route. So if you are looking to save, don’t rent a car. W also is not following the trend most hotels are; there is no Free WiFi, or complimentary breakfast. If you are looking for these options being free, look elsewhere. |

| The hotel was beautiful. The only thing they didn't have was free overnight parking for people who stay there. The breakfast we ordered from room service was average and way overpriced. The had a really cool beach bar that was nice and cozy. I would stay here again but I wouldn't have breakfast at the hotel. |

| I've heard nothing but good things about The W so my expectations were high. I was not let down. All the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The room in excellent condition and very comfortable (amazing pillows and mattress!). Like I said, it's the W. Expect comfort, high class, excellent service and overall great stay. |

| Stayed at the W on business for 5 days in October 2011. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The staff in particular was SO nice--from the front desk and concierge to the valets and restaurant staff. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The rooms are cool, with fun window seats. I enjoyed the heated pool and speedy room service as well. Location leaves something to be desired, but was fine for business and close to everything. Pricey but worth it. |

| First impression is everything and man did the W deliver. Not only was the valet staff friendly but they seemed to go out of their way to make you feel like you were coming home. The room was amazing!! Great style made me want to redecorate my house! There was a lot of construction in the area which didn't allow for the best views but not even that could dampen the experience. My bed was heavenly to say the least and the coziness made you want to nap right away. Finally, the location cannot be beat!! We walked, WALKED to two different restaurants with ease. I love staying at hotels and I would recommend this W hotel to anyone planning to stay in San Diego. I am now a loyal fan and can't wait to come back :) |
