Recent Westin Gaslamp Quarter Review: "The only reason I gave the condition and comfort a 4 was because the hotel was under construction. They are currently redoing their main entrance to the hotel. (which is why i think we got such a great rate on the room) there was some construction going on right outside our room as well. The first night we left our window open by accident and was woken  up to very loud construction. The following days we remembered to shut our windows and didnt hear a thing. The location is fabulous. Within walks to all the gaslamp restaurant and bars as well as the seaport village, convention center, and ballpark. If you have a car, it is located very close to the freeway, making travel around San Diego super easy. The pool was lovely. It is located on the third floor with wonderful views of downtown. It was nice and warm too, which was perfect for an evening swim in November. The concierge and front desk staff was helpful and very nice. I commend them for being there during the holidays. Around the corner from the hotel, in broadway circle, was a wonderful cafe that we had brunch - ST TROPEZ. The breakfast items were perfect, not too greasy. They even offered $6 all you can drink mimosas.... =o) I will def stay here again when in the san diego area."
