Recent Woodfin San Diego Review: "This hotel had a wonderful one-bedroom suite for me and my wife. It was very clean, quiet, and even had a small full kitchen. We went to the happy hour on Friday early evening in the outdoor lounge, the wine was high grade and the appetizers were very unique. The crowd was business/computer types from the local Qualcom type businesses. On the negitive side the pool was rather small but in nice shape. Being a tourist couple, the location was alittle too far from the La Jolla/beach area, approximatly 8 miles or 10 to 15 minutes from the hotel. Very few restaruants are nearby, only Rubio's is walking distance. The location is great for the business travler and fair for the vacationer. I would stay there again becouse of the wonderful rooms, service, and fair price for the San Diego area. Just be ready to drive a bit for the tourist locations."
